Transforming Africa’s Energy Sector

Daniel M. Kammen, the James and Katherine Lau Distinguished Professor of Sustainability, Chair of the Energy and Resources Group and Professor at the Goldman School of Public Policy and Nuclear Engineering coauthored research on Africa’s electricity sector that is published in the journal Science. The authors argue that a major transformation is needed to meet the needs of its growing population.
