Catherine is a second year Master’s student at ERG studying California agriculture and climate change. Her research focuses on water governance, resource allocation, and equity for farmers and ranchers in California. Prior to joining ERG, Catherine spent five years working at California FarmLink as a Loan Officer. In this role she facilitated access to operating capital, infrastructure development, and farmland ownership for beginning, immigrant, and underbanked farmers who lack access to conventional financing options. Catherine graduated from UC Berkeley in 2016 with a BA in Political Economy.
