A biotechnology that disrupts mosquito-borne disease is resistant to climate change

ERG PhD student Váleri Vásquez, with ERG Professor Lara Kueppers, recently published a paper in Nature Climate Change with some good news for our ability to control infectious diseases passed by mosquitoes. Climate change might alter mosquito-borne disease risk, but their research now suggests that one emerging disease-carrying mosquito biocontrol approach might be largely resistant to warming temperatures.
