Maggie Witt

Maggie’s research focuses on reducing the environmental impacts of transportation by decreasing both the amount that people drive and the per-mile emissions of personal vehicles. Her work focuses on California’s ground-breaking laws to cut the greenhouse gas impacts of driving. Maggie holds an M.S. in Energy and Resources and a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College. Prior to joining ERG, she worked for the U.S. EPA where she focused on transportation policy and planning and waste cleanup. While at ERG, she has worked at the Transportation Sustainability Research Center, the Public Policy Institute of California, and as a graduate student instructor. Links Publications
