Xander Bartone’s research interests are broadly related to distributed energy resources — he hopes to investigate pragmatic regulatory and policy methods to ensure that vulnerable populations are able to access these resources and their benefits. Bartone is also interested in rural electrification and hopes to study and learn about rural electric co-ops, their unique methods of governance, and the role they can play in the just energy transition.
Bartone recently bought his first pair of roller blades and is working up to (hopefully) getting good enough to use them for commuting!
Prior to joining ERG, Bartone attended Pomona College. He works as an Energy Specialist for The Brattle Group.
