Katie Epstein

Katie’s interests are in community forestry, natural resource conflict management, cultural dimensions of ecosystem management and place studies. She graduated with a BA in Anthropology from Davidson College (2010) and focused undergraduate research on sense of place in Southern Appalachian coal communities. Katie previously worked as a field educator for the Teton Science Schools in Jackson, WY and ran a backcountry ski guiding program in partnership with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Teton National Park.
