Cora is a second-year master’s student focused on climate adaptation and water in the West. Her research explores decentralized water management in her hometown of Santa Fe, New Mexico, with a focus on the costs associated with residential water hauling and its implications for water justice and climate resilience. Prior to ERG, Cora worked on food security and sustainability research and policy implementation with Stanford’s Sustainable Food Program and the California Resource Recovery Association. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Environmental Anthropology from Stanford University in 2019. Most recently, Cora worked on water policy and community engagement with the Santa Fe Watershed Association, and she is currently collaborating on a paper with an interdisciplinary team of graduate students through Secure Water Future. A professional dance artist of 12 years, Cora is dedicated to bridging research, policy, and creative practice in addressing socio-ecological challenges.
