Margaret Torn
Margaret is a staff scientist in the Earth Science Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where she heads the climate change and carbon management program. She is a biogeochemist who works on the relationship between land use and climate change. She has strong interests in global-change science and its societal implications. She is particularly well known for her work on soil-organic matter dynamics and the role of soils in ecosystem functioning. |
